AI transcriptions are not measuring up to your expectations? Penguin Transcription only has real humans transcribing, not AI, but if you would like a real human being to go through it and make sense of your AI transcripts without any ‘assistance’ from artificial intelligence, we’re here to help.

We can offer services from checking through AI transcripts that you are not too unhappy with and making minor modifications to completely re-transcribing gobbledygook, depending on the situation.

Please note that if what you’re looking for is intelligent verbatim transcription, AI will generally only give you full verbatim transcription, and it’s generally quicker for us to retype from scratch than to make all the necessary corrections and remove all the ums and ers, repeated words, hesitations etc. However, the choice is yours – we can charge our usual intelligent verbatim per minute rate to retype the transcripts or we can charge you the time it takes to correct them.

We’re always happy to give you an estimate of the expected time taken to correct, if you send a sample of the sound file along with a sample of the AI transcript. This should be at least one A4 page.

Penguin Transcription does not use AI transcription for any of its transcription services at the moment and has no plans to in the foreseeable future.
